I kept asking Tipsy Tullivan, my heteronym, “What do you think of Mina Loy?” and Tipsy kept saying, “Who the heck is Mina Loy?” Finally Mina Loy stepped in and said, “I was a performance artist too.” So I took a lot of license from her play with multiple selves.
