Landing page of game featuring photo of Mina LoyNext Lunar Baedeker” is an interactive text-based adventure experience that guides users through Loy’s “Feminist Manifesto.” Built in Twine, the adventure incorporates materials from other contributors to the platform, sending users on a twisting path through the text, its contexts, and related research. Along the way, users are required to interact with the text by making choices about their gender identity and self-expression, and are subject to randomized adventure experiences that may help or hinder their progress. They can even destroy the world.

“Next Lunar Baedeker” juxtaposes Mina Loy’s early twentieth-century Futurist feminism with our early twenty-first century digital media environment, enacting for users the interruptions, shocks, and breakages of concentration and consciousness that Loy sought to create for her readers.
