Careful close reading of Mina Loy’s “Are you prepared for the Wrench?” will note that it is addressed in none-too-flattering terms to very reasonable liberal feminist proposals (education, access to the professions). On the other hand, that’s not all we want. So this wrench is also about differences among women, sometimes difficult to negotiate.
